Everlywell rebrand & launch

Everlywell is a healthcare tech company based in Austin, T.X. aiming to empower customers to take action and ownership of their health through easily accessible and affordable at-home lab testing, with over 30 tests available from Food Sensitivity to FIT Colon Cancer Screening.

EW was the first to market with an FDA Authorized at-home COVID test kit in 2020, which launched the company into a rapid growth stage (60 employees to now over 900, and three acquisitions).

Before I joined in 2019, Everlywell had worked with an external agency to deliver a new toolkit. Beyond a new wordmark and color palette, nothing had been defined—no updated packaging, no print, no digital, no photography, and no video. Below is a look at the brand I built from those limited assets.

Email program

Our retention channel had been handled by a third-party agency, had maybe two or three templates, and zero strategy or audience segmentation. We were missing out on learnings, the ability to quickly pivot, and building our brand.

RESULTS: $10MM+ in revenue and over 68k transactions in the first year, increased active audience by +160% (2MM subscribers) and grew our Refer a Friend program by +61%. This past holiday season, we broke our email record twice in one week—netting +$350k off of a single send, and in March, brought in $1MM from the retention channel alone.
